The Evolution of Urban Networks in Zhejiang Based on Geely Automobile Enterprise Connections

Abstract
Enterprise connections,as a core driver of economic development,has become an important perspective for analyzing urban network spatial structures.This paper utilized Geely Automobile enterprise connection data from its entry into the automotive industry in 1997 to 2023.It employed social network analysis methods to explore the evolution of Zhejiang Geely Automobile enterprise connection patterns and the urban network structural characteristics based on different segments of the industrial chain,as well as their influencing factors.The findings indicate:①There existed significant variation in the network structure characteristics and trends among cities in Zhejiang,with core cities consistently exhibiting higher connectivity densities than core and peripheral areas.②Over time,cities in Zhejiang formed more complex network structures and interconnected triangular frameworks such as"Hangzhou-Ningbo-Taizhou"and"Hangzhou-Ningbo-Jinhua".③Cities in Zhejiang demonstrated close and potentially vast connections with other provinces.④The overall network density of cities in Zhejiang decreased from production to research and development to sales segments,highlighting the need for strengthened links in high value-added segments.⑤In the evolution of urban network structure in Zhejiang based on Geely Automobile enterprise connections,the influence of path dependence effects and neighboring enterprise organizations remained consistently significant in a positive direction.Conversely,the overall influence of urban attribute factors was predominantly negative,while the influence of geographical spatial effects was weak.关键词
