Roles and Recent Advances of Cytochrome B561 in Tumors
摘要
Abstract
Cytochrome B561(CYB561),a highly conserved transmembrane transporter protein with ferrireductase activi-ty,is ubiquitously expressed in humans.Recent studies have revealed its dual roles in malignant tumors,exemplified by pro-moting breast cancer(BC)progression while suppressing acute myeloid leukemia stem cell activity.CYB561 demonstrates significant prognostic value and represents a potential therapeutic target across malignancies.For instance,CYB561 knock-down suppresses breast cancer cell proliferation by inhibiting Akt/mTOR pathway and H2AFY-NF-κB signaling pathway.This article provides the systematic review of CYB561's pleiotropic functions in tumor biology,including iron metabolism and signaling pathway regulation,while evaluating its potentials as both a novel biomarker and a therapeutic target.We outline key priorities for translational research to inform novel approaches in precision oncology.关键词
