Abstract

The frequent occurrence of extreme weather seriously affects the operational safety and sustainable development of urban rail transit systems.Improving the disaster resilience and operational safety of urban rail transit systems has become a critical issue.Firstly,this study analyzed the operational accidents of urban rail transit systems caused by rainstorms from 2004 to 2023,and extracted rainstorm risk factors in the accidents to construct a model for the rainstorm risk evolution network in urban rail transit systems.Subsequently,based on complex network theory,static topological characteristic indicators were calculated,and grey correlation analysis of the nodes and their calculation results were conducted to obtain the key risk factors.Based on the principle of deliberate attack failure,dynamic simulations were conducted from the perspective of single node failure and continuous node failure to explore the impact extent of key risk factor failures on the whole network.Finally,taking the"7·23"flooding incident at Jinggangshan road station on Qingdao Metro Line 13 as an example,the risk propagation path was analyzed,and targeted strategies for enhancing the resilience of the urban rail transit system were proposed.The results showed that metro station flooding,train suspension,ponding,drainage system failure,and heavy rainfall had significant impacts on the rainstorm risk evolution network in urban rail transit systems,serving as key nodes for risk control.Implementing appropriate risk mitigation measures can effectively reduce the propagation efficiency of risks in the network and enhance the overall resilience of the urban rail transit systems.
