Historical Review and Reflection on the Construction of Modern Undergraduate TCM Knowledge System

Abstract
The construction of China's independent knowledge system at present has risen to a national strategy.Traditional Chinese Medicine(TCM)is a traditional discipline with independent intellectual property rights in China.In the historical process of modern transformation,by reviewing the construction of the undergraduate knowledge system of TCM through three historical stages:the exploration stage with teaching materials as the starting point,the reform stage with teaching plans as the carrier,and the remodeling stage with standardization construction as the core,it could be concluded that under the guidance of TCM policies of the Communist Party of China,the construction of the modern professional knowledge system of TCM at the undergraduate level,is a successful model of the modern transformation of China's traditional disciplines and a paradigm for the development of traditional medicine worldwide.However,the current construction of the undergraduate knowledge system of TCM still faces many issues,such as the lack of innovation of basic TCM theories,the vague positioning of TCM classics,and the uncertain proportion of TCM and Western medicine knowledge.The study puts forward that the only way to continuously improve the modern undergraduate knowledge system of TCM is by adhering to the academic essence of TCM knowledge as the core,absorbing and drawing on the latest progress in modern medical and life science research as well as all outstanding achievements of human civilization to enrich,develop,and enhance TCM.关键词
