摘要

Abstract

Driven by advances in big data,biotechnology,and artificial intelligence,pig breeding technology has progressed rapidly in recent years.Genomic selection and mating technologies have been widely adopted by major domestic enterprises,heterosis prediction techniques facilitate the optimization of crossbreeding combinations,and gene editing is now directly applied to create novel germplasm resources.However,gaps persist between China and global leaders in establishing whole-industry-chain breeding systems,collaborative joint breeding mechanisms,and precise phenotypic measurement technologies.This review summarizes current research and applications of molecular marker-assisted selection,genomic selection,genomic mating,heterosis prediction,and gene editing.It also explores future directions for pig breeding,including whole-industry-chain strategies,joint breeding initiatives,and smart phenotyping,aiming to provide insights for the high-quality development of China's swine seed industry.
