Abstract
Objective To systematically review the existing evidence on the treatment of colds with Paracetamol,Pseudoephedrine Hydrochloride and Dextromethorphan Hydrobromide Tablets(Ⅱ)/Paracetamol,Pseudoephedrine Hydrochloride and Diphenhydramine Hydrochloride Tablets(Trade Name:Danuo),and conduct a comprehensive clinical value assessment across six dimensions.Methods In accordance with the Management Guidelines for the Clinical Evidence and Value Assessment of Drugs,a combination of qualitative and quantitative methods—including evidence-based medicine,questionnaire surveys,and pharmacoeconomic evaluations—was employed to comprehensively evaluate the clinical evidence and value of Danuo in treating colds.Results Danuo is a Class B OTC compound preparation covered by China's National Medical Insurance for relieving cold symptoms.Over 20 years of clinical application,along with guideline and consensus recommendations,demonstrate that this product is effective against common colds and influenza,with favorable safety and efficacy.Compared to similar clinical products,its market pricing is appropriate,offering good cost-effectiveness.The clinical advantage lies in its day/night formulation,which simultaneously alleviates multiple cold symptoms,addressing the gap in compound cold medicines within the National Essential Medicines List.Suitable for adults and children aged 12+,the day/night tablets are color-coded for easy identification,ensuring convenience and high patient compliance.The manufacturer maintains stable production capacity,and current market distribution covers medical institutions and pharmacies in 25 provinces/regions,demonstrating strong accessibility.Conclusion Danuo exhibits good clinical value in the treatment of colds.关键词
