Abstract
Objective To provide references for further improving medication information for children in drug instructions and standardizing rational clinical use in children.Methods A total of 808 drug instructions used in the hospital inpatient pharmacy from October 2023 to July 2024 were selected,and the labeling status of medication information for children was statistically analyzed.Results The 808 drug instructions involved drug dosage forms,including oral preparations,injections,and external preparations,with oral preparations being the most common(763 drug instructions,94.43%)in labeling medication information for children.The labeling content was the most common in ″medication information for children″(737,91.21%).The number of medication information for children labels for storage and drug interaction items was relatively few.The labeling rates of children's medication,usage and dosage,precautions and pharmacokinetic parameters in imported drugs and generic drugs,as well as children's medication,usage and dosage,precautions in domestic drugs and national essential drugs were higher.Dosimeters were most commonly calculated by body weight(except for imported drugs),and least by body surface area.The types of drugs involved were mainly prescription drugs and medical insurance drugs.There were relatively few kinds of drugs for children(9 kinds,1.11%,divided into 8 dosage forms).The labeling rates of children's indications,children's usage and dosage,children's adverse reactions,children's precautions,children's contraindications,children's medication,children's pharmacokinetics,and children's storage items in the drug instructions were 8.42%,32.43%,9.53%,27.85%,6.81%,91.21%,14.23%,1.61%.Conclusion There are relatively few types and dosage forms of drugs for children in this hospital.Problems such as lack of information on children's medication in drug instructions and lag in revision and update are prominent.It is suggested that relevant departments should pay more attention and strive to improve the information of children's medication in the drug instructions throughout the life cycle,so as to continuously improve the safety,effectiveness and accessibility of children's medication.关键词
