Abstract
Objective:To observe the clinical effect of the tonifying kidney and fortifying governing vessel function therapy on ankylosing spondylitis,and to determine the effect of serum 25(OH)D level on the progression of ankylosing spondylitis.Methods:A total of 60 patients with ankylosing spondylitis of the kidney deficiency and governing vessel cold type were divided into two groups,with 30 cases in each group.The control group was given Etoricoxib tablets and Alfacalcidol soft capsules orally,and the observation group was given modified Bushen Qiangdu Zhiwang decoction(加味补肾强督治尪汤)more.Both groups were treated for three months.The changes of Bath ankylosing spondylitis disease activity index(BASDAI),Bath ankylosing spondylitis function index(BASFI),finger-to-ground distance,occipital-wall distance,TCM syndrome score,erythrocyte sedimentation rate(ESR),C-reactive protein(CRP),serum 25(OH)D level before and after treatment were observed in the two groups,and the efficacy and safety were evaluated.Results:The total effective rate in the observation group was 90%(27/30),and that in the control group was 73.3%(22/30).The observation group was better than the control group,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).After treatment,the BASDAI score,BASFI score,TCM syndrome score,finger-ground distance,and occipital wall distance in two groups were lower than those before treatment(P<0.05),and in the observation group were lower than the control group(P<0.05).After treatment,the levels of ESR,CRP and serum 25(OH)D in 2 groups were ameliorated compared with those before treatment(P<0.05),the amelioration was more significant in the observation group,and the difference was with statistical significance(P<0.05).No obvious adverse reactions were observed in the two groups during treatment.Conclusion:The tonifying kidney and fortifying governing vessel function therapy combined with Western medicine has a definite effect in the treatment of ankylosing spondylitis of the kidney deficiency and governing vessel cold type,which is better than that of Western medicine alone,and it can significantly relieve the symptoms of patients,reduce inflammatory indicators,and slow down the disease activity.Considering that it is related to the up-regulation of serum 25(OH)D level,it is recommended to actively monitor the serum 25(OH)D level in ankylosing spondylitis patients clinically.关键词
