摘要

Abstract

[Objective]To provide scientific basis for management of Eucalyptus grandis×E.urophylla mixed forest.[Method]To explore the effects of three treatment modes,pure stands of Eucalyptus grandis×E.urophylla(CK),Eucalyptus grandis×E.urophylla-Acacia mangium mixed plantation(M1),and Eucalyptus grandis×E.urophylla-Phoebe bournei mixed plantation(M2),on the growth of Eucalyptus grandis×E.urophylla and the diversity of understory vegetation,a plot survey method was employed.Growth parameters of Eucalyptus grandis×E.urophylla,species composition,and diversity indices of understory vegetation were compared among the three treatments.[Result]The results showed that:in mixed plantation modes,both Acacia mangium and Phoebe bournei exhibited better growth,with significantly higher tree height,diameter at breast height,and individual volume of Eucalyptus grandis×E.urophylla compared to pure stands.However,there was no significant difference between the two mixed plantation modes.The number of understory plant species in the three modes was ranked as M2>M1>CK.Dominant spe-cies in the shrub and herb layers varied among different modes.The Shannon-Wiener diversity index of shrub and herb layers in CK was lower than that in M1 and M2,while the Pielou evenness index was higher than that in M1 and M2.The similarity of understory plant communities be-tween M1 and M2 was high,while it was significantly different from CK.[Conclusion]Different mixed plantation modes can be adopted in the management of Eucalyptus grandis×E.urophylla plantations to promote its growth and enhance understory vegetation diversity.
