摘要

Abstract

As-cast QT800-5 ductile iron with high strength and toughness is prepared by composite alloying of Si,Cu,Ni,Mo and Sn in this study.The effects of mechanical properties,normal load,sliding speed and ambient temperature on the wear resistance are systematically investigated by means of high temperature friction and wear tester(HT-1000).Meanwhile,the microstructure and morphology of wear surface are characterized and analyzed by scanning electron microscope(SEM)and 3D optical profiler.The experimental results show that the maximum wear rates corresponding to normal load,sliding speed and ambient temperature are 16.25×10-6,19.23×10-6 mm3·m-1 and 55.54×10-6 mm3·m-1,respectively.The as-cast QT800-5 ductile iron shows good wear resistance at room temperature of 25℃and low normal load and sliding velocity.The main wear mechanism under normal load and sliding velocity is adhesive wear,while the wear mechanism under ambient temperature is oxidative wear and adhesive wear,accompanied by mild abrasive wear.
