摘要

Abstract

Rain gauging station is an important defense for flash flood disaster and provides primary data support for early warning of flash flood disaster.To improve the insufficient consideration of the upstream to downstream topolo-gy in the watershed and insufficient representativeness of the rain gauging stations,an association algorithm be-tween the automatic rain gauging stations and the flash flood prevention and control area based on the watershed's topological relationship is proposed,with the weight factors of the associated rain gauging stations determined by the Thiessen polygon method.Moreover,the simple rain gauging stations are proposed to act as the backup stations to improve the resilience of the early warning system under extreme rainstorm conditions.The research was conducted at Tonghua village in Tonghuashui Basin,Lingchuan County.The upstream watershed scope within the flash flood prevention and control area was extracted,and the related rain gauging stations in and around the upstream scope were searched according to the principle of effective coverage.The rain gauging stations were then in logical corre-spondence with the prevention and control area,and the weights of the rain gauging stations were determined by the Thiessen polygon method,which conforms to the spatial distribution of rainfall in the watershed,so the rainfall quan-tity for early warning could be more representative and accurate.
