井眼扩径对偶极子声波测井响应的数值模拟研究
Numerical Simulation Study on the Response of Dipole Acoustic Logging to Borehole Enlargement

Abstract
Affected by factors such as the uneven distribution of in-situ stress and the development of fracture zones,borehole enlargement often occurs in Shunbei Ordovician carbonate formation,which leads to the multi-solution nature of interpretation and evaluation of dipole acoustic logging data.A numerical simulation study is carried out on the response of wellbore expansion to dipole acoustic logging in carbonate rock formations.The wellbore acoustic field characteristics of dipole acoustic sources at different expansion positions and expansion sizes are analyzed and compared.The research results show that:①Wellbore expansion has a relatively small influence on the measurement accuracy of dipole wave acoustic time difference.When the acoustic source is located in the expansion section or there is expansion between the acoustic transmission and reception systems,there is basically no influence on the measurement results of the time difference of dipole wave acoustic waves.Only when there is expansion at the local position of the received acoustic system will it slightly affect the measurement result of the time difference of the dipole wave acoustic wave.②Wellbore enlargement will lead to a reduction in the amplitude of dipole wave.Compared with other expansion positions,when there is broadening at the local position of the received acoustic system,the amplitude of the dipole wave no longer monotonically decreases with the increase of the source distance.With the increase of the expansion size,the amplitude of the dipole wave shows a decreasing trend.③Wellbore expansion has a certain influence on the dispersion characteristics of dipole wave.When the acoustic source is located in the expansion section,wellbore expansion has almost no effect on the dipole wave dispersion.However,when there is expansion between the transmitting and receiving acoustic systems or at a local position of the receiving acoustic system,it will cause an increase in the dipole wave dispersion,and with the increase of the expansion size,the dipole wave dispersion gradually increases.Combined with the processing results of dipole acoustic logging data,the reliability of the numerical simulation results was verified.关键词
