摘要

Abstract

To overcome the difficulty of extracting formation acoustic slowness in cased holes when the casing and formation are poorly cemented,and to address the limitation that existing methods rely on prior information such as accurate borehole parameters or manual parameter adjustment,an adaptive extraction method based on the fixed slowness characteristics of casing waves is adopted:casing waves are predicted and initially removed through wavefield separation,an adaptive weighting strategy is introduced to protect formation wave features,data reconstruction technology is combined to enhance waveform redundancy,and finally,formation slowness behind casing is extracted through slowness-time coherence(STC)or dispersion analysis.The research results show that:①The method has been verified by numerous vertical and horizontal well cases,overcoming the difficulty of signal extraction in poorly cemented conditions and providing a reliable means for extracting slow formation signals.②It can reliably extract formation slowness characteristics even when the formation compressional wave slowness is close to that of the casing wave and the main features of the formation wave are masked.③It can recover more details of formation wave slowness,significantly improve the signal-to-noise ratio of effective signals,and enhance waveform redundancy.④It can separate formation compressional and shear waves,improving the accuracy of slowness extraction.It is concluded that the method has good adaptability,does not require adjustment of time window and frequency parameters,can effectively solve key problems in extracting formation acoustic slowness in cased holes,and has on-site promotion and application value.
