Design of a Load-Adaptive Transmitter Module for Micro-Resistivity Scanning Imaging Logging Tool

Abstract
To address the insufficient adaptability of the transmitter module of the micro-resistivity scanning imaging logging tool under different well conditions,especially the insufficient emission current in high-resistivity drilling fluid environments which affects imaging quality,the method of theoretically analyzing the response characteristics of the transmitter module in downhole environments,constructing an equivalent circuit model,proposing a load-adaptive transmitter module design scheme,verifying its function through model simulation,and integrating it into a wide-dynamic micro-resistivity scanning imaging tool for actual downhole tests is adopted.The research results show that:①Compared with the traditional transmitter module,the applicable range of drilling fluid resistivity of this module is increased to 3 times the original,and the load adaptability is increased to 4 times the original.②In simulation tests,under 1,50 and 100 Ω load conditions,the module can work stably,with no distortion in the waveform at the load ends,and the switching tube shows good response.③Field tests show that in high-resistivity drilling fluid and high-resistivity formation environments,the module can provide sufficient emission current,significantly improving the resolution of logging images and enhancing the ability to identify fractures and thin layers.④It effectively solves the problem of insufficient emission current of traditional modules in high-resistivity environments and significantly improves the quality of logging data.It is concluded that the load-adaptive transmitter module significantly improves the adaptability and stability of the micro-resistivity scanning imaging logging tool under complex well conditions,providing a theoretical basis and design guidance for its research and development.关键词
