Abstract

To promote the coordinated development of hydropower development and aquatic ecological environment in the Chishi River Basin,a survey was conducted on fish and hydraulic structures within the basin from July 2021 to September 2022 using cage sampling and field research methods.The survey identified 83 fish species belonging to 12 orders,26 families,and 73 genera.The fish composition was dominated by Cypriniformes(48 species),accounting for 57.83%of the total species,followed by Perciformes and Siluriformes,representing 16.87%(14 species)and 12.05%(10 species),respectively.There are currently 32 water conservancy weirs,28 reservoirs,11 hydropower stations,and 40 sluices in the basin,with channelization observed in some river sections.Further analysis indicates that water conservancy projects in the basin adversely affect fish reproduction,migration,and habitats.
