Abstract
The Jiaoyan Reservoir constitutes a key water resource development project in the Xushui River Basin.Given abundant water availability at the dam site and strong reservoir regulation capacity,the reservoir is capable of supplying rich and high-quality water resources to meet the water demands of the receiving areas for socioeconomic development.By analyzing the existing problems in urban and rural water supply in the receiving area and the available water sources,investigating the necessity of urban and rural water supply from the Jiaoyan Reservoir in terms of meeting planning requirements,fulfilling urban and rural development water needs,optimizing the regional water supply structure,and promoting regional socioeconomic development.The findings provide a reference for advancing urban and rural water supply from the Jiaoyan Reservoir.关键词
