Effects of lipid metabolism on animal oocyte maturation and embryo development
摘要
Abstract
As research in metabolomics and reproductive biology continues to advance,lipid metabolism—a crucial component of cellular metabolism—has garnered significant attention for its role in germ cell development.Lipid metabolism provides energy to oocytes and embryos through fatty acid oxidation and triglyceride breakdown,and it also participates in biomembrane construction and signal transduction.Signaling pathways such as AMPK,mTOR and PPAR regulate lipid synthesis,breakdown and utilization to maintain cellular energy homeostasis.Additionally,abnormal lipid metabolism may lead to female reproductive disorders.This review summarizes the effects of lipid metabolism on the maturation of bovine and ovine oocytes and early embryonic development,as well as its applications in assisted reproductive technologies,aiming to provide innovative perspectives and strategic approaches for enhancing in vitro embryo production and elevating the efficacy of assisted reproductive technologies.关键词
