Research on the Impact of New Quality Productivity on Enterprises' Carbon Emission

Abstract
This paper takes Shanghai and Shenzhen A－share listed companies from 2018 to 2023 as a research sample to ex⁃plore the impact of new quality productivity on enterprises'carbon emission and the moderating effect of big data pilot policy.The re⁃search results show that new quality productivity significantly promote enterprises'carbon emission reduction,and the big data pilot policy has a positive moderating effect in this regard.Heterogeneity analysis reveals that enterprises located in the eastern region and carbon emissions trading pilot cities have better emission reduction effects from new quality productivity.Both state－owned and non－ state－owned enterprises exhibit significant emission reduction effects,but the moderating effect of state－owned enterprises is more significant.The study provides empirical support and policy recommendations for promoting the development of enterprises'new quality productivity and carbon emission reduction.The study proposes recommendations from the government and enterprises:the government can formulate a phased and categorized incentive policy,promote the development of new quality productivity through fi⁃nancial subsidies and other means to reduce carbon emissions,and improve the efficiency of the policy with the help of big data technology;enterprises need to make use of the policy support to accelerate the digital transformation,attach importance to the sig⁃naling effect,strengthen the disclosure of carbon information,and increase the investment in new quality productivity to reduce car⁃bon emissions,so as to contribute to the"dual carbon"goal."Dual－carbon"goal.关键词
