摘要

Abstract

The"white pollution"caused by traditional plastic mulch films poses a significant threat to the ecological environment.Increasing environmental awareness and the widespread adoption of sustainable development principles have propelled fully biodegradable mulch films into a research hotspot.Poly(butylene adipate-co-terephthalate)(PBAT)-based films exhibit excellent properties;modifying these films through doping can enhance their overall performance while reducing costs.To produce cost-effective functional agricultural biodegradable films,this study utilized two distinct layered double hydroxides(LDHs)and calcium carbonate(CaCO3),blending them with PBAT via twin-screw extrusion to prepare composite masterbatches.PBAT-based composite films were subsequently fabricated from these masterbatches using extrusion blow molding.A series of structural and performance tests verified the feasibility of blending LDHs into PBAT composite films.These tests analyzed the effects of both modified and unmodified LDHs,as well as CaCO3,on the structure and properties of the composite films.The results demonstrate that LDHs do not affect the structure or crystallinity of PBAT within the composite films.While blending increased film crystallinity,it reduced thermal stability.LDHs improved the mechanical properties and reduced the anisotropy of the films.Among the experimental groups,the composite film incorporating CaCO3 alongside unmodified LDHs exhibited the optimal mechanical performance.Furthermore,the composite films showed enhanced water barrier properties and hydrophobicity.Light transmittance exhibited no significant change,but haze decreased,resulting in improved light transmission characteristics.
