Effect of Drg2 on IRI-mediated Cardiomyocyte Pyroptosis

Abstract
The regulatory role of GTP-binding protein 2(Drg2)on I/R-induced cardiomyo-cyte death was investigated using a primary cardiomyocyte hypoxia/reoxygenation IRI model constructed in suckling mice.In this model,myocardium-specific Drg2 was knocked down and overexpressed to explore the regulatory mechanism of Drg2 in cardio-myocyte death.The results show that knockdown of Drg2 inhibits IRI-mediated cardiomyocyte death,while overexpression of Drg2 promotes the elevation of the expression levels of inflamma-tory factors IL-1β,IL-18,and lactate dehydrogenase.Drg2 may play a protective role against myocardial IRI by regulating key factors of the cardiomyocyte death pathway.关键词
