Abstract
The deformation behavior of TA31 titanium alloy is highly sensitive to thermal processing parameters,so it is difficult to control its corresponding microstructure and mechanical properties.To identify stable thermal processing windows for achieving optimal microstructure and performance,isothermal compression tests were conducted to simulate and optimize the hot deformation process.Results show that as the strain rate increases from 0.01s-1 to 10s-1,the flow stress rises by 156 MPa,while increasing the deformation temperature from 800℃to 1150℃reduces the flow stress by 165 MPa.A strain rate-compensated Arrhenius hyperbolic sine constitutive model was established to describe the hot deformation behavior of TA31 titanium alloy.Based on the dynamic material model and the Prasad instability criterion,a hot processing map was developed,and the optimal deformation parameters were determined as 940℃to 980℃and 0.01s-1 to 0.1s-1.关键词
