摘要
Abstract
In the slag beneficiation process of a smelter, the butyl xanthate used has a pungent odor.To mitigate the impact of this odor on the surrounding environment, the slag beneficiation plant conducted optimization trials on copper collectors.Several copper collectors underwent olfactory recognition tests, and those with lower recognition rates were selected for beneficiation experiments.Through tests on collector types, dosage, combined use of new collectors with butyl xanthate, and closed-circuit trials,it was determined that using ZYP-C26A in conjunction with butyl xanthate—at dosages of 140 g/t and 120 g/t,respectively—yielded a copper concentrate product with a grade of 19.67%and a recovery rate of 91.50%.Compared to using butyl xanthate alone, the tailings loss rate increased by 0.5 percentage points. However, the olfactory recognition rate of the combined reagent decreased by 40%compared to butyl xanthate alone.Partially replacing butyl xanthate with ZYP-C26A can reduce the volatile odor, though it slightly impacts copper beneficiation performance. Therefore, environmental and economic factors need to be comprehensively considered.关键词
