Abstract
Deterrence by punishment and deterrence by denial,as the two fundamental behavioral logics of deterrence theory,have long been the core concepts guiding the practice of US space deterrence.In prac-tice,the two logics manifest as distinct strategic cognitions:"space in deterrence"and"deterrence in space".The former focuses on developing the offensive performance of space systems,while the latter em-phasizes strengthening the defensive performance of space-based assets.In the era of"Great Power-Com-petition",the space is rising as an important variable affecting the strategic competition between China and the United States.Since Trump 1.0,under the guidance of the cognition of"Great Power-Competition",the US government promotes the practice of space deterrence against China for the strategic purpose of maintai-ning its hegemony in areas of economy,military,technology and politics.After long-term practice,the U-nited States has gradually established a space deterrence architecture towards China that promotes coordina-ted advancement through paths such as"in space","to space","from space",and"through space".However,the effectiveness of the United States'space deterrence against China is influenced by the three elements of deterrence theory—deterrence strength,deterrence determination,and deterrence signal trans-mission,and faces enormous uncertainty.关键词
