The Intrinsic Mechanisms of Different Factors Changing During The Preparation of Animal-use Xizang Medicine Decoctions at Various Altitudes

Abstract
The aqueous decoction method for veterinary Xizang medicinal materials is a commonly used drug preparation technique in Xizang,with a long history of over a thousand years.It has been developed into a comprehensive theoretical system of Xizang medicine through long-term clinical practice of successive generations Xizang physicians.Moreover,the decoction prepared by aqueous decoction method not only has the advantage of rapid absorption but can also quickly exert its medicinal effects,playing a significant importance for the prevention and treat-ment of livestock diseases.Starting from the preparation process of veterinary Xizang medicinal decoctions,including pre-boiling treatment,selection of water,preliminary soaking of the herbs,choice of containers,determination of water quantity,control of temperature,selection of decocting times,filtration of the decoction,and its preservation,this article discusses the current situation of aqueous decoctions in domestic and international veterinary Xizang medicine,analyzes the differences in preparation factors of veterinary Xizang medicinal decoctions at vari-ous altitudes.Lhasa and Lanzhou are located in different altitude regions with distinct geographical environments.Although there are similari-ties in medicinal materials and processes,the decoction time varies significantly,affecting the efficacy and clinical application.Therefore,it is essential to adjust the parameters of the decoction process according to the altitude to optimize the preparation technique and enhance thera-peutic outcomes.关键词
