核糖体蛋白S6激酶在卵形巴贝斯虫侵染长角血蜱过程中的作用
Role of Ribosomal protein S6 kinase in the infection of Haemaphysalis longicornis with Babesia ovata

Abstract
Babesia ovata is a pear-shaped parasite that resides in the blood of cattle and can cause ovine babesiosis in infected livestock.Haemaphysalis longicornis is its primary biological vector.Ribosomal protein S6 kinase(RpS6K),as an important cellular signaling molecule in ticks,plays a crucial role in the process of pathogen infection.The full-length sequence of RpS6K gene from Haemaphysalis longicornis was amplified by PCR and designed small interfering RNA(siRNA)for RpS6K based on the obtained sequence.Experimental cattle were inoculated with Babesia ovata via the jugular vein to establish an animal infection model.Expression of the RpS6K gene was inhibited using siRNA,and the physiological data of RpS6K during Haemaphysalis longicornis infection with Babesia ovalis were analyzed by ANOVA.The results showed that the full length of the RpS6K gene in Haemaphysalis longicornis was 2 922 bp.The inhibition experiment reduced the expression abundance of the RpS6K gene to 31.54%(P<0.05).Animal infection tests indicated that the infection rate of Babesia ovata in the experimental group decreased significantly compared with the control group.Interfering with the RpS6K gene in Haemaphysalis longi-cornis can effectively block the vertical transmission of Babesia ovata in tick,thus providing a new direction for the prevention and control of babesiosis.关键词
