摘要

Abstract

Phthalate esters(PAEs),which are extensively employed as plasticizers,can easily migrate from plastic products into atmospheric environments due to their weak non-covalent interactions(e.g.,hydrogen bonds and van der Waals forces)with the plastic matrix,posing significant threats to human health.To elucidate the occurrence,migration,and transformation pathways of PAEs in atmospheric aerosols,the major sources of PAEs in atmospheric aerosols and their potential hazards to human health were summarized.Additionally,the concentration and distribution of PAEs in the natural environment were comprehensively analyzed,highlighting the impact of various environmental factors on the atmospheric migration,as well as the hydrolysis and photodegradation mechanisms of PAEs.Furthermore,a prospective outlook on future research directions in this field was offered.
