Discussion and Treatment of Rheumatoid Arthritis Based on the Theory of"Spleen being the Defensive Organ of Zang-Fu Viscera"

Abstract
Rheumatoid arthritis is a common autoimmune disease with symmetrical involvement of small joints in clinical practice.Its course is long and the prognosis is poor.Late stage patients may experience joint deformities and organ damage,seriously affecting their quality of life.Traditional Chinese medicine classifies it as Bi syndrome,which belongs to the category of deficiency of the root and deficiency of the target.Medical practitioners often believe that liver and kidney deficiency is the root,ignoring the deficiency of spleen in the middle burner and the lack of solid qi defense.Therefore,this article analyzes the theoretical connotation of"the spleen as the defender"and believes that it is a highly summarized theory of the spleen's ability to regulate and defend,which is closely related to the etiology and pathogenesis of rheumatoid arthritis.In the process of rheumatoid arthritis,the intrinsic pathogenesis of"spleen deficiency of defense"includes the generation of dampness,excessive thinking,and the accumulation of phlegm and blood stasis;The lack of solid qi and the invasion of wind cold and dampness pathogens into the body are external causes.Based on this,in the treatment,we should treat both the symptoms and the root causes,strengthen the spleen and replenish qi,strengthen the protection of qi to treat the root cause,remove dampness,regulate emotions,remove phlegm and remove blood stasis to treat the symptoms,and select Zusanli and Yinlingquan for acupuncture and moxibustion to enhance the function of the spleen and stomach.In summary,this article explores the etiology,pathogenesis,and treatment of rheumatoid arthritis from the perspective of"spleen as the defense",aiming to provide ideas and methods for the clinical treatment of rheumatoid arthritis in traditional Chinese medicine.关键词
