The Mechanism and Clinical Application of Ephedra-almond Medicinal Pairs in the Treatment of Respiratory System Diseases

Abstract
Respiratory diseases are the leading cause of death in China,and their incidence rate and mortality are increasing year by year.The combination therapy of traditional Chinese medicine has its unique advantages.Studies have shown that the combination of ephedra and almonds is widely used as a common combination of cough and asthma relief drugs in the clinical treatment of respiratory diseases,such as asthma,chronic obstructive pulmonary disease,cough,etc.Ephedra sinica and almond medicine mainly exert their effects by reducing the expression of inflammatory factors,relaxing airway smooth muscle,alleviating airway hyperresponsiveness,inhibiting airway remodeling,regulating the conduction of multiple pathways and the expression of related proteins.By summarizing the mechanism of action and clinical application of ephedra almond medicine,we hope to provide inspiration for the current research and clinical application of ephedra almond medicine,and also provide sufficient basis for the"same treatment for different diseases"in traditional Chinese medicine theory.关键词
