Main Risks and Safety Control Recommendations for 70 MPa Hydrogen Refueling Stations

Abstract
Currently,35 MPa hydrogen refueling stations are the main type in China.With the increasing urgent demand for long-range fuel cell vehicles,70 MPa high-pressure hydrogen refueling stations will become the mainstream of development.The working pressure has been raised from 35 MPa to 70 MPa,and the main risks of hydrogen refueling stations have changed significantly.Meanwhile,higher requirements have been put forward for safety management.Through the research and analysis of relevant literature,the main risk points of high-pressure hydrogen refueling stations have been systematically identified:temperature rise during fast char-ging leading to reduced equipment lifespan and operational efficiency losses;hydrogen embrittlement failure of materials increasing the probability of seal leaks;and expanded hazard ranges for leaks,spray fires,and explo-sions.Based on this,safety risk control measures for the 70 MPa hydrogen refueling station were proposed:The process control layer adopts the pre-cooling process(hydrogen pre-cooling at-30℃)and dynamic refueling procedures to achieve precise suppression of temperature rise.The source control layer established an intrinsic safety verification mechanism for materials and equipment through the implementation of standards.The conse-quence of disaster reduction layer optimized the safety distance based on the risk quantification model and inte-grated explosion-proof barriers and intelligent interlock devices.This article systematically constructed a man-agement system of"risk identification-mechanism analysis-collaborative prevention and control"to provide tech-nical support for the safe operation of 70 MPa high-pressure hydrogen refueling stations.关键词
