Principle and Experiment of Thyristor-type Multi-port DC Circuit Breaker for Substation Power Supply System
摘要
Abstract
Aimed at the problem of stage difference coordination failure when an air circuit breaker cooperates with the anti-delay tripping protection scheme in the low-voltage DC power supply system of a substation at present,the topology of a thyristor-type multi-port circuit breaker(T-MP-CB)was proposed,which can isolate faults by charging capacitors in a stable operation state while discharging capacitors in a fault state.Through the analysis of its working principle un-der different operating conditions,an electromagnetic transient simulation model was established,which was also ex-perimentally verified by a 220 V/200 A three-port DC circuit breaker prototype.Compared with other types of solid-state circuit breakers,the proposed T-MP-CB has many advantages,e.g.,it has no charging surge current,its breaking ca-pacity is not affected by factors such as fault resistance,and the use of only one circuit breaker can achieve the protec-tion for all incoming and outgoing lines.关键词
