Front-End Testing Method Based on Millimeter Wave Radar System
摘要
Abstract
Based on the front-end architecture,radar theoretical model,and the millimeter wave compo-nents general measurement solution,a range of test methods for the key parameters of the radar RF front-end are proposed in the high frequency band.Three parts are involved in the work:signal quality analy-sis,transceiver antenna testing,and receive link testing.The signal noise,frequency sweep performance,antenna pattern and noise figure are discussed in detail,and the corresponding test plans are designed.Practical and innovative methods for the parameter measurement and performance evaluation are discussed and provided,focusing on a spectrum analyzer equipped with a frequency extension module.This approach is particularly useful when test conditions are limited,especially when a millimeter wave network analy is lacking.Referring mathematical model and circuit principle,this work also proposes feasible means to optimize the parameters,which have great significance to improve the hardware and the whole system performance.关键词
