Knowledge Production and Dissemination Strategies of Education Policy in World-class Think Tanks:A Case Study of the Heritage Foundation in the United States

Abstract
[Research purpose]Think tanks can not only generate forward-looking theoretical ideas and scientific policy recommendations,but also effectively disseminate research findings and widely guide public opinion,providing strong intellectual support for government decision-making and forming a powerful influence.Therefore,it is of great significance to explore the policy knowledge production and dissemination strategies of world-class think tanks.[Research method]Taking the Heritage Foundation in the United States as the research object,and employing methods of literature review and case study,this research summarizes and generalizes the content of the Heritage Foundation's production of education policy knowledge,and conducting an in-depth analysis of the various strategies the Heritage Foundation uses to promote the dissemination of its education policy research findings.[Research conclusion]The research shows that the Heritage Foundation's education policy studies cover research topics in multiple fields such as early childhood education and higher education,and have a clear problem-solving orientation.The dissemination strategies mainly include directly influencing education policy-making through the think tank's"revolving door"mechanism,directly and swiftly submitting policy research findings to Congress of the United States and government departments,participating in hearings of the Congress and other departments and providing testimonies,fully leveraging the power of the media to guide public opinion,and promoting its education philosophy through social mobilization.关键词
