摘要

Abstract

[Research purpose]Accelerating the decarbonization of district heating based on new and renewable energy is a critical measure for Beijing to reduce natural gas consumption for heating and achieving the"carbon peaking and carbon neutrality"goals.[Research method]The status and challenges of the low-carbon transformation of the heating system in Beijing were analyzed.The research references the decarbonization strategy of the EU's fourth-generation district heating,assessing the status of municipal solid waste incineration for power generation in Beijing.[Research conclusion]According to theoretical calculation results,with recovering the waste heat and implementing seasonal storage,it could meet nearly 146 million square meters building heating load in winter,and reducing annual consumption about 1 billion standard cubic meters natural gas for heating.It is recommended that during"the 15th Five-Year Plan"period,heat recovery from waste incineration should be vigorously promoted,and relevant research about post-heat cross-season storage technology and pilot demonstration projects should be initiated.These actions will validate the technical pathway for subsequent large-scale application.
