Abstract

Aiming at the problems of poor wetting effect and limited water injection range in traditional coal seam water injection tech-nology,a high-efficiency wetting agent formula has been developed to improve the wetting performance of coal seam water injection.Sur-face tension and contact angle tests were conducted on 12 commonly used monomer wetting agents,and 6 monomers with good wetting effects were selected.Then,the orthogonal experimental design was used to develop a new wetting agent formula by compounding 0.05%sodium dodecyl sulfonate and 0.05%sodium dioctyl sulfonate in a 1∶1 volume ratio.Field tests show that the compound wetting agent can increase the average moisture content of coal seams by about 2%and expand the wetting radius by 0.5 m;the average dust reduc-tion rate of different processes increase from 25%to over 46%.This compound formula is economically practical and has significant effects,providing an effective technical route for improving the effectiveness of coal seam water injection prevention and control.
