Application of question prompt list in pediatric doctor-patient communication:a scoping review
摘要
Abstract
Objective To conduct a scoping review on the development process,application domains,and effectiveness of existing pe-diatric doctor-patient question prompt list(QPL),and to provide reference for future research and clinical practice.Methods The studies in Cochrane Library,PubMed,Embase,Web of Science,CINAHL,China National Knowledge Infrastructure(CNKI),Wanfang Data,VIP,and China Biomedical Literature Database were systematically retrieved,with a retrieval period spanning from the inception of the databases to January 31,2025.The included studies was summarized and analyzed.Results Sixteen articles were included.There is no standardized construction process for QPLs of pediatric doctor-patient communication yet.QPLs mainly included three steps:initial item formation,item content optimization,and application effect evaluation.Main application targets were children with chronic diseases such as asthma,tumors,and type 1 diabetes.Effect evaluation indicators for included the acceptability and feasibility of the QPL,the number of questions from the children and their parents and disease control of the children.Conclusion Current re-search on the application of QPLs in pediatric doctor-patient communication has primarily been conducted in foreign countries,while domestic studies remain in their nascent stage,lacking the development of localized tools.Future efforts should focus on developing pe-diatric QPL instruments tailored to China's sociocultural context,thereby advancing pediatric communication models to be more scien-tific,efficient,and patient-centered.关键词
