An efficient method to solve the color fastness problem of deep and dark polyester fabrics using fixing agent HS-3

Abstract
For four types of cylinder dyed polyester fabrics with poor water fastness and without post setting,the fixing agent HS-3 was used to synchronize with post setting.The setting temperature,time,and amount of fixing agent were optimized,and the optimal mass concentration of fixing agent was 30 g/L and post setting conditions were obtained(190℃,30 s for heavy fabrics,and 180℃,30 s for general fabrics).After treatment of four types of polyester fabrics,the chromaticity after soaking in water is significantly reduced,while the color fastness to friction and sublimation is improved,and the color change is minimal.In the HS-3 color fixing scheme,10 g/L of 842T softener was added for synchronous treatment.Compared with the conventional double setting process,the obtained sample had higher water fastness and subli-mation color fastness,similar friction color fastness to the double setting process,and similar or slightly worse hand feel,but with one less reduction cleaning and one low-temperature post setting process,the efficiency and benefits were signifi-cantly improved.This process is an efficient solution to the problem of poor water fastness in production.关键词
