摘要

Abstract

Low-loading Cu/Al2O3 catalysts were prepared and characterized by means of XRD,XRF,XPS,HRTEM,STEM-EDS,N2 adsorption-desorption,H2-TPR,and N2O-H2 redox titration.Catalytic performance of prepared catalysts for 2-ethyl-2-hexenal hydrogenation was evaluated.The structure-activity relationship of Cu/Al2O3 catalysts was established,and the effects of reaction conditions,such as H2 pressure were investigated.Characterization results show that the prepared 5%(w)Cu/Al2O3 catalyst possesses high specific surface area(172 m2/g),uniform mesoporous structure(most probable pore size 11.8 nm),and relatively high metal dispersion(35%).Moreover,catalytic performance evaluation results indicate that increased metal dispersion and H2 pressure may accelerate the hydrogenation reaction of both 2-ethyl-2-hexenal and 2-ehtylhexanal while making little impact on the selectivity of 2-ethyl-2-hexenol.
