Synthesis of γ-Al2O3 support rich in penta-coordinate Al3+and catalytic performance evaluation of H2O2 prepared by anthraquinone hydrogenation

Abstract
γ-Al2O3 support rich in penta-coordinate Al3+was successfully synthesized by the hydrothermal method with aluminum nitrate and urea as raw materials.The physicochemical properties of the support was characterized by techniques including XRD,SEM,STEM-HAADF,27Al MAS NMR,and N2 adsorption-desorption.A preliminary performance evaluation was conducted on the anthraquinone hydrogenation over Pd/Al2O3 catalyst prepared by using the support.According to the characterization results,the relative content of penta-coordinate Al3+in the synthesized support reaches 40.88%(w).Its microscopic particles are in the shape of rods with a length of 1-4 μm and a diameter of 0.1-0.3 μm.The BET specific surface area is 494 m2/g.The prepared Pd/Al2O3 catalyst has its Pd nanoparticles well dispersed,with an average size of 3.51 nm and a narrow size distribution.The evaluation shows that compared with the reference catalyst,the catalyst has higher hydrogenation activity.关键词
