Discussion on Countermeasures for Improving Operational Capacity of Nancang Railway Station

Abstract
Nancang Railway Station is an important railway network marshalling station in China's railway network.It is an important hub node for railway transportation,linking the Northeast region with East China,South China,Central China,and Southwest China.It undertakes the task of marshalling and transferring freight trains from the Tianjin hub to all directions in China.Continuously improving the operational capacity of Nancang Railway Station and addressing bottlenecks in the railway network transportation are crucial for meeting the increasing transportation demand.Based on the analysis of the current situation and operational capacity of Nancang Railway Station,targeted countermeasures were proposed to address issues such as the insufficient marshalling capacity of Nancang Railway Station,periodic locomotive shortage in all directions,unbalanced arrival of traffic flows,a high number of non-conforming trains,difficulties in handling large exchange traffic flows,and unreasonable construction skylights.These countermeasures included strengthening the reconstruction of the hub station yard,adjusting some marshalling plans,guiding railway group companies to balance loading,increasing locomotive investment,enhancing cooperation among stations,organizing roundabout transportation of traffic flows,improving the quality of train marshalling,using satellite stations to solve the exchange of traffic flows,and optimizing construction skylights to further improve the operational capacity of Nancang Railway Station.关键词
