Winter Sports Driving the Development of the Ice and Snow Economy:Mechanisms,Challenges,and Pathways
摘要
Abstract
With the growing recognition that"snow and ice are also valuable assets",the surge in winter sports has spurred explosive growth in the ice and snow economy,making it a new driving force for high-quality development in the national economy.This study begins by clarifying the essence of the ice and snow economy and elaborates on three dynamic mechanisms behind its vigorous development:the Olympic legacy and policy incentives for winter sports,the competition and event-driven mechanisms,and the horizontal and vertical integration of the ice and snow industry.The research identifies several challenges in leveraging winter sports to boost economic growth,including regional disparities,an underdeveloped event system,weak industrial linkages,untapped con-sumption potential,and an inadequate talent pool.We proposes practical pathways such as"integrating culture for shared development;optimizing systems and strengthening organizations;upgrading facilities,building brands;innovating products,and safeguarding rights;and cultivating talent while promoting convergence".关键词
