"敌国之词"与"春秋褒贬之义"

Abstract
In Chen Shou's Records of the Three Kingdoms·Jiangwei Zhuan,it is stated in the commentary that Jiang Wei"indulged the masses and was reckless in his military campaigns,and his clear decisions were not comprehensive,ultimately leading to his downfall."However,an analysis of the historical events related to Jiang Wei's northern expeditions and his attempt to"restore the Shu regime"after Liu Shan's surrender shows that Chen Shou's view is not consistent with historical facts.The phrases"indulged the masses and was reckless in his military campaigns"and"his clear decisions were not comprehensive"are considered to be submissive words under the Jin Dynasty,similar in tone to the edicts issued by Wei Regime to conquer Shu Regime.Compelled by the political environment,Chen Shou had to appraise Jiang Wei according to the governor to ensure the safety of his family and himself,yet he still managed to continue the tradition of"the praise and criticism of the Spring and Autumn Annals"from the"good historians"of the past,subtly conveying a fair assessment of Jiang Wei through his historical narrative and scholarly integrity.His less favorable career in the Jin Dynasty after switching allegiances might have also intensified his nostalgia and reminiscence for his former country and people,which is often reflected in his works.关键词
