Abstract

Under the background of energy saving and emission reduction,and low carbon emission,combined with the demand for green transformation of the power system of 48TEU container ships on the ChanghuShen route,a DC network power system solution combining containerized pure lithium battery modules and counter-rotating shaftless rim-driven thruster is proposed.The real ship operation data of a traditional 48TEU container mother ship is investigated,and the capacity requirement of the energy storage battery and the power configuration of the propellers are calculated and determined to ensure the ship's range and sailing efficiency.On this basis,the structural design and equipment characteristics of the power system are analysed,pointing out its advantages in reducing mechanical wear and tear,improving energy conversion efficiency,and significantly reducing emissions,and further discussing the technological advancement of the DC network power system scheme in terms of optimising the space layout and reducing the energy consumption of the system.The design proposes an effective solution for promoting green shipping of inland river container ships.
