Opportunities,Challenges,and Countermeasures of Generative AI Assisted Research Writing for Graduate Students in Social Sciences

Abstract
With the rapid development of science and technology,artificial intelligence(AI)represented by DeepSeek has gradually become an important tool for academic research,especially academic paper writing.The disciplinary attributes and training methods of social science graduate students make AI writing technology show its application value in many aspects of scientific research,such as thesis selection,data collection,research and analysis,writing and editing.However,the limitations of AI writing technology itself have led to a series of challenges when it is applied to social science graduate students'scientific research,such as ethical issues,academic integrity issues,and technology dependence issues.For this reason,we should actively promote the upgrading and optimization of technological innovation,improve the academic ethics review mechanism and legal protection system,and cultivate graduate students'academic self-awareness.The essence of generative AI is a tool revolution rather than a value replacement,and a dynamic balance needs to be sought between technological empowerment and humanistic perseverance,and AI writing technology should be reasonably utilized to assist scientific research.关键词
