Abstract
The discharge of industrial and domestic wastewater leads to the increase of nitrogen and phosphorus nutrients and chemical oxygen demand in water bodies,which destroys aquatic ecosystems and poses a threat to health.Traditional physicochemical treatment methods are costly and complex to operate.Therefore,this study proposes an aquatic plant-based water environment restoration strategy,taking water hyacinth,greater duckweed,and plantain as examples to evaluate their restoration effects in the South China region.The results show that plantain has the best removal effects on ammonia nitrogen and total phosphorus.In practical applications,the ammonia nitrogen removal rate of plantain reaches 82.52%,and the removal rates of total phosphorus and chemical oxygen demand are both above 77%.Aquatic plants have an ideal improvement effect in water environment restoration,and the removal effect of plantain is superior.关键词
