Impact of Innovation Capacity on the Green Development of Agriculture in China

Abstract
Based on the panel data of 30 provinces in China from 2005 to 2021,the TOPSIS method,fixed effect model and threshold effect model were respectively adopted to analyze the impact of innovation capacity on the green development level of agriculture in China.The results showed that the innovation ability had a significantly positive impact on the green development level of agriculture at the 0.01 level.The innovation ca-pabilities of the eastern and central regions had a significantly positive impact on the green development level of agriculture at the 0.01 level,while the innovation capabilities of the western region had a negative impact on the green development level of agriculture,but not significantly.The influence of innovation ability on the green development level of agriculture had a knowledge accumulation threshold effect.When knowledge ≤8.600 8,the promoting effect of innovation ability on the green development level of agriculture was the most significant.When knowledge ≥9.799 7,the promoting effect of innovation ability on the green development level of agricul-ture was the weakest.As the threshold value of knowledge accumulation keeps rising,the promoting effect of innovation ability shows a decreasing marginal effect trend.The countermeasures and suggestions were given for enhancing innovation capabilities,adjusting the structure of agricultural scientific research investment,and at-taching importance to the development differences among regions.关键词
