Abstract
Objective To explore and compare the effects of semi femtosecond laser and mechanical knife flap on postoperative visual quality in high myopia patients undergoing laser in situ keratomileusis(LASIK).Methods Retro-spective case-control study.80 patients with 160 eyes of high myopia who received LASIK treatment in our hospital from January 2023 to August 2024 were selected and divided into an observation group and a control group,with 40 patients in each group.The control group was given mechanical flap assisted LASIK,while the observation group was given femtosec-ond laser[i.e.femtosecond laser combined with excimer laser correction surgery(FS-LASIK)].Compare the logMAR lev-els of uncorrected visual acuity(UCVA),corneal surface morphology[Keratometry(K),surface regularity index(SRI),surface asymmetry index(SAI)],high-order corneal aberrations,and postoperative complications between two groups be-fore and 3 months after surgery.Results The postoperative UCVA of both groups decreased compared to preoperative lev-els(P<0.05),while there was no significant difference in UCVA between the two groups before and after surgery(P>0.05).After surgery,K,SRI,and SAI in both groups decreased compared to preoperative levels.The SRI and SAI in the observation group were lower than those in the control group(P<0.05),while there was no significant difference in post-operative K levels between the two groups(P>0.05).After surgery,the high-order aberrations of Hui,San Ye,and Ball aberration in both groups increased compared to preoperative levels,while the observation group showed a lower increase in these high-order aberration parameters compared to the control group(P<0.05).The postoperative complication rate in the observation group was 7.50%lower than that in the control group(27.50%,P<0.05).Conclusions Compared with mechanical knife flap,FS-LASIK treatment for high myopia patients results in comparable uncorrected visual acuity,bet-ter improvement of corneal surface morphology and higher-order aberrations,and lower postoperative complications.关键词
