New progress in the formation of retinal pigment epithelial cells induced by stem cells
摘要
Abstract
Retinal degenerative diseases such as age-related macular degeneration,retinal pigmented epithelial(RPE)cell damage,retinal pigmented epithelial degeneration,yellow spot in the fundus,etc.,are currently incurable.However,with the development of cell replacement therapy,the transplantation of stem cell-induced RPE cells into the retina has gradually become a new direction to cure retinal degenerative diseases.With the application of targeted differen-tiation scheme and cell culture scaffold materials,the differentiation of stem cells into RPE cells has made new progress.This paper reviews the new methods and materials used in the differentiation of RPE cells from these stem cells,aiming to provide some help for the research of retinal regenerative medicine.关键词
