Abstract

In order to endow better wearing comfort to traditional fabrics,unidirectional moisture conductive polyester cotton fabric were prepared by screen printing technology based on the wetting gradient effect,and the fabric moisture absorption and permeability were tested.Three kinds of hydrophilic modification were adopted for polyester cotton blended fabrics,including alkali treatment,composite enzyme treatment,composite enzyme and alkali combined treatment,followed by hydrophobic treatment by screen printing technology using modified paste prepared by mixing printing paste,water repellent agent and softener.The results showed that after the integrated treatment of 1.8 g/L composite enzyme(40℃,50℃)and 100 g/L NaOH solution,the unidirectional moisture conductive polyester cotton fabric prepared by water repellent agent slurry with 12%mass fraction and 100 mesh screen molds were subjected to hydrophobic printing treatment,which had the optimal comprehensive performance,and the shortest diffusion time of its comprehensively treated fabrics with water dripping,which was(200±5)s.It is considered that the method of preparation is simple,the prepared fabric has unidirectional moisture conductive property and excellent wearing performance.
