TiO2/活性染料复合棉纤维的制备及自清洁性能
Preparation and self-cleaning performance of TiO2/reactive dye composite cotton fiber

Abstract
To address the susceptibility of cotton fibres to soiling,their poor ultraviolet resistance and the complexity of conventional modification-dyeing process,a one-step hydrothermal method was developed,tetrabutyl titanate and reactive turquoise KN-G dye were acted synergistically,enabling simultaneous TiO2 loading and dye fixation on the fibre surface.The characterization results showed that anatase-phase TiO2 nanoparticles were uniformly anchored to the fibres,far superior to conventional multistep routes.After hydrothermal treatment,the cotton crystalline and molecular structure were not destroyed.TiO2 was combined with cellulose through C—Ti,N—Ti and O—Ti bonds,dye was successfully grafted.TiO2 loading enhanced UV absorption in 290 nm~400 nm range with minimal impact on thermal stability.Photocatalytic self-cleaning tests showed that,after 300 min of UV irradiation,the modified fibres could degrade strawberry juice stains efficiently,which demonstrating robust self-cleaning capability.Owing to high-temperature hydrolysis and acidic intermediates,the breaking strength and breaking elongation rate were decreased 32.4%and 26.4%,respectively,while dye uptake and K/S value were dropped 50%and 79%.Despite the mechanical and dyeing property reductions,the one-step hydrothermal process was simple,energy-efficient and environmentally benign,providing a viable route for the green,high-throughput production of multifunctional cotton fibers.关键词
