成人慢性根尖周炎根管治疗中iROOT SP单尖充填法的临床效果及对炎症反应的影响
Clinical Effect and Impact on Inflammatory Response of iROOT SP Single-point Filling Method in Root Canal Treatment of Adult Chronic Apical Periodontitis

Abstract
Objective To explore the clinical effect of iROOT SP single-cone obturation and its impact on inflammatory response in root canal treatment of adult chronic apical periodontitis(CAP).Methods According to a random number table,80 CAP patients admitted to Yibin Second People's Hospital from June 2023 to April 2024 were divided into two groups.Both groups received root canal treatment.The observation group(40 cases)underwent iROOT SP single-cone obturation,while the control group(40 cases)underwent thermoplasticized gutta-percha obturation.Clinical efficacy,root canal obturation time and quality,visual analog scale(VAS)pain scores,inflammatory response indicators,and complication rates were compared between the two groups.Results The total effective rate and optimal obturation rate of the observation group were higher than those of the control group,and the obturation time was shorter(P<0.05).VAS scores on postoperative days 1,3,and 7 were lower in the observation group(P<0.05).Levels of C-reactive protein,interleukin-6,and tumor necrosis factor-α in periapical tissue fluid on day 3,as well as the complication rate,were lower in the observation group(all P<0.05).Conclusion The iROOT SP single-cone obturation method demonstrates superior efficacy in root canal treatment for CAP patients,offering advantages of high obturation quality,reduced postoperative pain,diminished inflammatory response,and enhanced safety.关键词
